After graduating with honors from the ISHS, Chase continued his education, expanding into the field of document examination. Mr. Goodwin studied in Atlanta, at the Andrew Bradley
Questioned Document Examiners School. There Mr. Goodwin graduated from both the training and advanced courses; scoring final top grades of 98 and 93 respectively, and earning
personal praise from Mr. Bradley for his fine attention to detail.
Chase decided to start his own company, and founded Tough Cases.Net. Tough Cases.Net has built a reputation for its detailed and expert work in document examination, and
handwriting analysis. Chase Goodwin's specialized services and outstanding reputation are constantly sought after nationwide. He has served clients from Seattle to Georgia, and from
San Diego to Virginia. We have expanded over the years, and now have associates located in New York, Washington DC, and Los Angeles.
Tough Cases.Net tackles the hardest cases including yours. We take great pride in our abilities. Clients contact us for a variety of reasons; most common are examining documents
for forgery, testifying as an expert witness at trial, and analyzing handwriting for personality and character traits.
Chase has exceptional skills in document examination, and is available as an expert witness with impeccable credentials. His honesty and credibility are without reproach.
Chase has worked on numerous fraud and forgery cases, including that of embezzlement. He has analyzed suicide notes to determine if the victim had suicidal tendencies or if it was homicide.
The highlight of Mr. Goodwin's career would definitely be in solving the Jack the Ripper murder case of 1888.
Besides his incredible skill in handwriting analysis and document examination, Chase also has a background in law, criminal investigation,
and psychology. These additional skills were crucial in solving the Whitechapel murder case of 1888, infamously known as Jack the Ripper.
Before Chase solved this infamous case; it had baffled the greatest police agency, Scotland Yard, and numerous investigators and Ripperologists
for 117 years.
No one else has been able to solve the identity of Jack the Ripper. Chase proved, beyond a shadow of a doubt, the true identity of Jack the Ripper; and he did it
single handedly.
Mr. Goodwin utilizes deductive reasoning from his legal and private investigative background to assist in his case work. The added element of deductive
reasoning, and working "backwards" to solve mysteries like a detective; enabled Chase to develop an accurate theory of the Ripper case. His original theory
developed in November of 2002 was proven perfectly accurate when he was able to conclusively match his prime suspect to the Ripper handwritings.
This case exemplifies our great reputation for finely detailed document examination and analysis. Mr. Goodwin was able to identify about 120 matching traits between the Ripper
documents and those of the suspect; thus clearly proving his conclusions. Many of these matching traits were so inconspicuous that Mr. Goodwin had to enlarge portions of the documents
and then using a magnifying glass, measured letter strokes and letter portions at 1/128" increments.
