Preparing "match up" sheets

Once I had all the samples necessary, I prepared "match up" sheets. These are "cut outs" of individual letters, set side by side for comparison. On the left side are samples from the Zodiac. On the right side are samples from my prime suspect. The "gap" in the middle of the page seperates the Zodiac side from my prime suspect's.

The numbers are used as the best match ups in each line. Go back and forth between these and see how identical they are.

Below are several samples of these "match up" sheets.

[Chase Goodwin]

The 5 samples above are a small sampling. However, you can easily see the perfect matches between the two sides. Each letter has multiple matching variations and that adds to the uniqueness of the matches.

Examine the 2 samples of the lower case "h". There are about 15 matching traits with just one letter! Some of these traits like the "trapezoidal" arch are extremely rare and unique.

For the most part, these "match up" sheets carry the bulk of the weight of the conclusion. However, I wasn't done with that. I prepared several measurement traits to add to the overwhelming evidence.
