Preparing the measurement traits

Once I had all the "match up" sheets, and the matching traits derived from them, I prepared several measurement traits to add to my report. One came from the lower case "w". The first sample comes from my prime suspect, the second from the Zodiac.

Below is a small sampling of these measurements

[Chase Goodwin]

The measurements of this letter matched perfectly in stroke lengths and angles. Notice the excessively long finishing stroke. This is an "extreme" for the formation. All "extremes" are rare and unique. This one is no exception. The measurements confirm this match. Notice the percentage lengths in comparing each stroke.

When I was finished, I had 117 matching traits. Some of these were rare and unique. Many matching traits were multiple variations within the same letter, thus reinforcing my conclusion.

Like all my reports, they are designed to be overwhelmingly convincing in their conclusion. And the Zodiac was yet another example of this. It's literally "cross examination" proof.
